Not possible. The "water" is a continious surface which cannot be modified. When the sumarine descends through the surface, the surface also passes through the submarine, including the interior. There is currently no way to change this, nor am I aware of any indication of any future possibility changing this.

ok then do you just have a script that allows it to go up and down in the water but not out of it like a real sub but with water inside it?

I don't have one... you might get some luck in products wanted.
If you want to know how to make one... if it's just up and down, rather than full movement, it's relatively easy. You just limit the vertical movement to the value of llWater ± some suitable offset for the build of the vehicle. I'm guessing the same things apply in vehicle scripts too, but I try to avoid them. _____________________

When I design vehicles with a height limit, I usually put the altitude check in the CONTROL_UP statement, and if the altitude is greater than my limit it instead drives the vehicle down; if it's within a certain range of the altitude, the engine's force in the upwards direction follows an asymtopical curve as it approaches the height limit- this gives it a much more natural movement appearance than an instant upward movement halt. _____________________

Yes, down a bit lower than scripting tips, in the classifieds. /147/1.html
