What the heck is with the 'Sponsored Links' spew down at the bottom of the wiki today? :eek:

Fixed.

I really wish that LL would reserve WRITE access to the wiki only to logged in SL users. Allow READ access to the world, but anyone who needs to write to the wiki needs to belong to SL.

Never seen wiki-spam before. It's almost amusing... almost.

from what I notice on the revision history, it happened twice today, about 5 hours apart - the same IP address logged in (212.164.71.254) to do it, also.

I am in whole-hearted agreement that you should be forced to log in to edit the system - however these settings don't seem to be tied in any way to SL's login info so it's kinda a half-solution at best unless someone wants to edit the wiki to work with SL's logins.

They dont have to be tied in to the SL login system. In fact, Id be glad if they weren't. The ACLs on the main page need to be changed so that write access is only granted to people that are logged in. Only Catherine can do this (according to the owner on the bottom of the page). We also need to have some way of blocking that IP, if it tries to register an account, it should fail when the system sees the IP is banned.
