Script and Sculpty error?

I have found that if I change the texture of a sculpty child prim via script params, suddenly I can't reposition any of the child prims of the object whether manually or by script. It does that annoying snap-back-to-position thing.

Anyone else having similar problems?

whew no clue, a bug maybe? Sounds like the way huge prims work, so maybe its related in some way to that 'hi I'm a wierd (in this case sculpty) prim' behavior?

The object is about 80 prims, and nothing is oversized. However, I can replicate this result flawlessly every time.

Weird, huh?

I remember seeing something about this in some release notes. Do a search on Jira for closed issues.

All right, I've been searching the JIRA for many hours and I can't find it.

From what I can tell, if I make ANY change to the parameters of the child linked sculpty object, I can't reposition it afterward, even if the first change was to move its position.

This is a sort of critical problem for people trying to animate sculpty objects, don't you think? If I'm the only person experiencing it, that's one thing, though I can replicate this problem every time.

Anyone else willing to try this and see what happens? Or perhaps have the news from the mysterious aforementioned JIRA?
