Is it possible to TP an avie automatically, say with a collission event, rather than having them select the option from the pie menu?

So if an avie would walk into a teleport station they would TP to the set location as soon as they step in.

Thanks

Teleportation either requires the av to "attach" and then move the object or, more commonly, use the sit hack to change the position of the "seat"
So, no, AFAIK, there is no way to automatically TP someone (aside from llTeleportAgentHome, and that's a diffrent story). Imagine the greifing possibilites with something that could do that!

theres a new option thats a sit teleport but

edit your prim
choose the more button
look in the general tab
at the bottom is a dropbox
choose sit

now when someone clicks on the prim it will automaticly sit them, which is better than nothing

I recently came across a sim called "The Future" which has a cool teleportation system. There are several large triangles in the arrival area - you just walk into a triangle and it begins a process of several pushes thoughout the sim that get you to a particular destination. It is a pretty neat effect. You just need to be careful that you walk into the pusher facing the right way - but other than that you don't need to do anything else to use it.
