Upon speaking with a Linden, I have been informed that the magic circle will not work for one reason. SL has a hardwired code written so that these kinds of things have to be in a specific order: Sit, Teleport, Animation. Not Sit, Animation, Teleport. Anyone have any suggestions or a loophole i'm not aware about?

I would wait for llTeleportAgent() to be honest. You could fudge a display with particles, but I think the animation will be lost.

I think I could fudge something up with rotation so long as you want to teleport less than 40-60 meters.

Or put the animation and whatnot in a prim rezzed for the purpose and llSetPos-style-teleport.

Well, yes, you can pretty much use Cubey's Mark III teleporter for that... just change the animation name. But having the teleport be *instant* is pretty cool. I've been having fun with my "random" security teleporter, using the same basic principle.
