We've had waving flags since beta. We had them on the washington monument.

Look at Textures Unlimited in Clyde... I think Drift put up a beautiful collection of waving international flags there, so you can ask her about it. Cross Lament gave me a cool particle US and Canadian flag a little while ago. Purrhaps she has a Dutch one? |

It depends on what you want.
Jopsy Pendragon did the first good partical flag I ever saw... It ripples realisicly, blows in the wind, changes size and so forth depending on how much wind htere is, etc.
Unfortunatly doing it with particals in this way basicl limits you to flags composed of horizonstal stripes.

As Torley mentioned the best I have seen and most likely exactly what you are looking for can be found at Textures Unlimited in Clyde. Now, whether they will sell you one or part with their secret, that's another story.
Please let me know if you find who sells them, I'd love to buy a couple.

I was gonna make one for as many countries as I could find animated flags... but nobody seemed interested in them, and their lack of interest ganged up on my interest in a dark alley someplace and 'had words'.
