how are some people using poofers as a gesture? poofing "lol" or "  " text faces. i remember seeing a pooferin a welcome area. i thought scripts weren't allowed there, so how would they make that? would it be an animation? if it's an animation, can you animate textures or prims? |

Scripts aren't allowed on ground level of the WA but if you fly up a few dozen meters and come back down, you will find that certain functionality activated when you're up there will continue to work. A good example would be vehicles. Poofers are particle effects.

Probably shouldn't post this but .... If you fly out of the WA area and enable your device and fly back in it 'should' under most cases still function unless listen or updates are called.
