On 1.6 when you log it, it fades to the next image. This got me thinking. Is there a way to fade from texture A to texture B?

Just a thought off the top of my head....
Take and make a cube, with a 90% hollow on it. Set texture A on the outside front face and set texture B on the inside front face. Set all other faces to a clear texture.
To make the fade part, simply run a for loop and llSetAlpha on the face with texture A.

An easier solution is to just change a static particle effect's texture. If done right, with a little alpha, it produces a similar effect with a much smaller hit to the sim.
