Payment to attachments

Hallo all,

I am trying to script an attached/worn tip jar. It should do some additional tasks than paying an avatar directly. Im wondering if this is possible as I saw in LSL Wiki that attachments cannot be payed but i saw some attachment tip jars out there.
Can anybody explain how to achieve this?

Attachments won't get money events, period. If you want the jar to do something in response to payment, the closest you'll get is a follower that tries to look like it's attached.

(You could cheat and stand inside a payable box, that chats to an attachment that does something...)
