I am looking for a script that keeps me from going inactive. I run a home business and I am frequently running back and forth between 3 computers. If there is one out there it would be a godsend.

My first guess would be that this cannot be done in a secondlife script. I think secondlife monitors your input (keyboard and mouse etc.) so no matter what you script in LSL it can't type on your keyboard. However a solution would be that you run some program in windows that will send keystrokes to secondlife. I am certain that these programs exist but don't know of any names. You could try 'macro' programs written for other MMORPG's like Ultima Online.

There is a place called the Bazzar (I may have spelled it wrong) - it is a Linden location..search for it in the places tab. You can get an anti-idle orb for free from there.
Not sure how it works but many say it is effective.
Other freebie places have them too - I don't remember if I have it at my freebie place (it's called Absolutely Free Stuff)...don't pay for it though (well..not more than L$1).

IM me and I'll send you one free. It works anywhere that outside scripts haven't been disabled.

Most people in this forum dislike anti-idle scripts for a variety of reasons.
However, there is a way to do it in world. I won't give you the script, because this forum is about tips for improving your own scripting, not requesting scripts to be written for you.
I will tell you that SL uses the time you've been playing the away anim as a marker for logging you out for inactivity. I'd suggest after that you consult the wiki for ideas. You might like to start with the list of default anims and llStopAnimation or similar.

Drat, no access to SL when one needs it. You can do the magic without scripts ....
I may have to write it in when I am back and can check the actual entries but in the Debug Menu there is an entry somewhere for character checks. When you remove the check idle option you are no longer reported as idle and you are also not logged out.
There seems to be a minor drawback because when I set my avatar to away nothing happens - no away animation is played and no away appears in brackets behind my name. So I wear a titler instead but I've been online, scripting in the background for maybe 4 hours and more, without having been kicked.
