Events Hosts Need Script

Hi! Scripters, We need YOU!!! Here is our quandry: Some events hosts work at clubs where the land is group owned so the charge for events issue is a problem. We need a script that legs us bounce people off of property that we don't own if they don't pay a cover charge (after politely asking them to pay and giving them a time limit by which they will do so before bouncing them from the property). Somehow, we need the equivalent of a ticket vendor for events and a way to keep people who do not have tickets from coming in. Also, if there were a VIP list feature by which some people could be routinely exempted from the program (club staff for example) they would get a "free ticket" so to speak. Finally, it would be great if the "ticket" were a modifiable notecard so that each event ticket would give the attendee a unique program for that evening's event.

If you can do this, can you please contact me in game and tell me how much this will cost? Or would you make one in exchange for free advertising at all my events in SL from now till the end of time? ~ Cherry

I've been tossing around psuedo code in my head for something like this for the past week or so. I'll let you know if I ever develop anything.

I think someone making a IM based "you need to pay" script that enforced it and dealt with staff etc would make a fortune.

What about the built in land option requiring people to pay to enter your land? I think if you add the land to a group. Any one in that group can enter the land for free. So you have a way to add VIP access.

i can write that one, it will be a fun job, i already helped my freind bulid something simular for rented land and ect just without the pay part dhould be easy to add that 2 it!!!

Of course, bouncing someone off land you don't own is a quick way to an abuse report. Can't group officers use the eject and freeze tools?
