Just wondering if its possible to create a script that changes skins after a given set of time?

Many of my zombie skins are advancing stages of decay, I thought it'd be neat to allow someone with the skins from a series to be able to automatically change skins.

To expand on AJ's responce, Scripts cannot affect skin, clothing or any other 'basic' AV parameters.

What might want to consider having some decaying parts as attachments. i.e. a stomach attachment with intestines hanging out. You can change the texture and/or size by script. Particle dripping ozz would be a nice touch also.

But are you sure it's not possible to modify skin textures ?? I need this option because I would texturize the face of avatars with bruises and blood.... for a game I start to develop

Any help ???

Through a script? Yes. We're very sure you can't do that.

As Destiny said, prim attachments is pretty much your only option.

Loop,

While you cannot script changes to skins or clothes, you could script chnages to attachments. As mentioned above.

One idea would be to create a prim-based zombie AV, like the furry ones you see so often...then script the changes ( bruises, ect) to the attached AV parts. If you wanted to use the original AVs skin, just make the attached peices semi-transparent. For example, a face attachment that addes bruises ( changes textures) over time.

I think what you want to do is possible (like most things in SL are) just the methodology may not be what you originally envision.

Fixed.
