I've got a "sit here" over a couch that I want to get rid of. I've also noticed it's impossible to remove floating text from other things I've made.
Is there some way to do this?

Just create a new script in it with default
{
state_entry()
{
llSetText("", ZERO_VECTOR, 0.0);
}
} Save that, the text should disappear. Then you can delete the script.
