I was wondering. Are there any changes to scripting on the new release? I have been looking for functionality ... I.E. LightSwitch Scripts.
Currently I change the object material to Light and back to Glass when needed. (also tweek Fullbright too)
Without the ability to "turn on" lights...

Well, the prim material 'light' is deprecated in the Preview. What you'll want to use in llSetPrimitiveParams() once 1.10 goes live are PRIM_FULLBRIGHT and PRIM_POINT_LIGHT. They're all updated in the wiki already. The old method, using PRIM_MATERIAL_LIGHT should still continue to work, though. It does in the current preview, at least.

I did the preview thing, but the giant wall of tests was too intimidating.
I thought I saw that someone had found in script a way to change the "light settings" like intensity and range.
(Whoever came up with the tenticles that reach for you needs an extra Kudo)

From: DolphPun Somme I did the preview thing, but the giant wall of tests was too intimidating. LOL, yeah, I only did a couple of those, then wandered off to do my own thing. From: someone I thought I saw that someone had found in script a way to change the "light settings" like intensity and range. Yup, again, that's the PRIM_POINT_LIGHT parameter for llSetPrimitiveParams(). It allows you to configure all of the light features for a primitive. From: someone (Whoever came up with the tenticles that reach for you needs an extra Kudo) Grabby grass is awesome.
