Is it me or is it true scripts can only be recompiled by the Owner via tools menu. I tried to recompile a script I dropped into a object with another owner, with edit rights (or I could not have dropped the script) and was unable to start the script that I am the creator of.

The script can only be set to running once inside the prim.

thanks

you can check the mono checkbox and then save the script again. but even with mod perms of other's objects, you can't edit scripts, notecards etc. unless it's deeded to a group and you have mod perms of group objects, and it has to be completely shared with the group (in the properties of the script). and you have to make sure you make the script full perm before you drop it in someone else's object otherwise you're still subject to next owner perms, even if you are the creator

I will try that, I never thought of checking to see if the Mono Box is available when trying to edit the script, I only know that it tells you you have insufficient permissions to view the script. Thanks
