rotation/spin problem

! have been using a simple TargetOmega script that allows spinning prims to be linked for sometime.About 2 months ago all rotation stopped in my sim and I understand it was a known SL error.I have just made an item with 3 spinning prims linked to 4.It is linked and working but stops spinning when I am at a distance from it or when I cam away from it .I have seen other linked objects spinning with no problems.Is this a SL fault or is my script bad

Not just you, the viewer has been "optimizing" this motion right out if it's too slow or too far.

Is there a work around or different script for this problem that anyone knows?
