Okay, I am not explaining my problem very well. Supposing Drawer A, Drawer B, Drawer C in the Cabinet. Noted also that these object are linked together. My problem is to create a script that when I touch the Drawer A this is able to open. The same also with Drawer B and Drawer C. Is that possible?

It is possible. llSetLocalPos. If your drawer is more than one prim, you will need some way of communicating in the script to set the local position of more than one prim at once.

Absolutely, the drawer composed of three prims. Is there any link here in website that tells more about llGetLocalPos. It seems that this functions is deprecated already in the lslwiki.net. It is not found in the list of functions in lslwiki.net.

There isn't an llSetLocalPos - there is just llSetPos, which behaves differently depending on what prim it is called from.

From: someone
If the calling script resides in a single prim or the root of a linked object, then pos is in region coordinates, which are relative to the simulator's southwest corner. If the script resides in a child prim in a link set, the pos is relative to the root prim of the link set.

There is, however, an llGetLocalPos. I keep on making that mistake myself.

You really might be better off asking in "products wanted". When you're looking for a complete script, it's not so much a tip as it is someone else doing the work for you.

AW, I didn't want to make it look like I was looking for a free script...
Anyway, I had it done last night and I payed for it, it works great. I got the message, I won't ask over here again. I did think it was a good idea to request it in this forum as I have been browsing and have seen loads of scripts and/or relevant links around. Sorry!

Thanks

Gina, dont be put of by Sys's resoponce. As a rule if someone mentions wanting to buy a script or to hire a scripter we send them to products wanted. This forum is dedicated to helping each other write our own scripts. Yes we have written hundreds, if not thousands, of scripts here on this forum, but generally in responce to the posting of an original script with a bug in it.

If you had searched this forum you would find at least 3 free drawer control scripts.
