Linking Objects with seperate scripts

I am in the process of making rave equipment and have 6 lights rotating on thier own central points. those six lights are attached too two beams which are then attached to a larger ball in the center. I can get the beams to rotate around the ball, and the lights to rotate around thier own...but whenever i link the lights to the beams. the lights quit rotating and the beams just rotate as they are. I want the lights to rotate on thier own while also following the path of the beams. Any idea's?

One thing to remember is that you can't rotate groups of prims within a link set. You can rotate individual prims, and you can rotate the whole thing. But anything more complicated than that becomes MUCH more complicated, involving lots of math and llSetPos/llSetRot magic. :)

Well i'm trying to provide the best for the DJ's around SL, and if i can get it to work exactly how i want it. then I'm sure it will be loved. and if only if only they could minimize the lag completely. lol
