I use FRAPS and have made a video in SL. I have uploaded it to several web sites. Some examples are vimeo, youtube, and magnify.net. I want to play them in SL. Need a script that will allow a resident to click to start the video then click to stop. I own land with full rights. Is the one out there already?

the freeview tv will play all video formats that sl will allow. make sure your video will run on quicktime, if not you'll need to export it into a qt format. If it runs, get yourself any tv in sl, plug in the url of your video and sit back and watch.

Im using them, if ya upload .mov (quicktime) you can get direct access to them trough there rss ! And its free !
In script library there is free opensource tv scripts that use bookmarks,
have one in my store, Im giving it out for free, just check my profile and goto Emedia.
You can also make your own very easy, make a prim box, set one of the faces with Default media texture, change the settings on the prim to "play media" instead of the default one.
Place the url in the media tab & change media texture in About land... Click it and if url is correct it plays.
