LSL Editor character-codes

I'm using some simple graphics-characters such as left/right arrows in my llDialog() menus to indicate prev/next because I think they look better than using "<<" or similar. LSL and the in-world editor have no problem with this. When I copy/paste to LSL Editor for offline scripting though all such characters just appear as "?".

This means that after a hard day at the keyboard, when I paste the script back into SL I have to go through re-editing to get back the characters I want. Is there a better way to handle these extended character codes in LSL Editor?

Options menu, Text Editor, Fonts and Color you can change the text editor font. The default is Courier New and perhaps that font lacks the characters you're using.
