Turning a Motorcycle's Handlebars?

I'm thinking there may be multiple ways to do this but none of the ideas I've had seem at all easy to accomplish so I thought I'd throw this out there for the experts to ponder and comment on...

I have a 30-prim motorcyle. When I sit on the bike I'm able to drive it just like any other normal SL vehicle. Here's the kicker, though. When I get off the bike I have the bike leaning slightly to left as though it's resting on a kick-stand, but I'd also like for the front handlebars, fork, tire, fender, headlight assembly, etc... to turn a bit to the left as a real bike would do when parked and resting on a kick-stand.

The bike, as I said, is a 30-prim object. I cannot make the front turning assembly a separate prim and rotate it around it's own axis as this assembly has to be a part of the bike.

What's the best way to get all the parts of the front wheel assembly to turn, rotate and reposition themselves so that as soon as you hop off the bike they turn slightly to the left? Also, when I get back on the bike, the wheel needs to, of course, straighten back up.

Any and all ideas are welcome!

Thank you!

detect when the av is seated or not, and then rotate each part into position. it won't look nice with a single script (unless that assembly is a single sculpted prim?) but you can use multiple prims that wait for a link message, and target each part individually at the same time.

I wonder if joints will ever come back.
