Billboard/Advertising Script

Hi, I am looking for a billboard/advertising script.

What I want:
Billboard in my shop with picture in it 'FOR RENT 25l$/week'
Advertiser pays 25l$
He drops a picture & landmark on the billboard

When a visitor in my shop clicks on the billboard he's teleported to the advertiseres place.


Does this exist ?
Where can i find this ?

hmh if i understand u ..u need something wich u can find in m&S toy store...at second or 3th floor.... its about 800-900 prims mod/copy

This is thescripting tips forum, you would be better of posting in Products wanted unless you are trying to write this script yourself.

I dont think the instant teleporting will be possible unless the landmark in the same or an adjacent sim (using a sitable prim and warpos). The best you would probably be able to do would be bring up the map with the teleport position marked.

The rest is pretty straight forward, all you would need to do is monitor when its vacant and then accept money and allow inventory drop.

You would need to take into account over payment or could use it for multiple weeks rental.

You'd need to check that the correct person was dropping the item, not 100% sure if thats actually possible.

The script would then retexture itself and set the landmark.
When their lease expires you would delete the texture and landmark and reset the vacant texture.

I'd suggest that you also IM yourself so you know who paid and how much just in case of problems later.

I had allready bought the script for 800l$ at the 3th floor. The script does what I want; but a direct teleport when you click on it is not possible.

BTW: where can I buy/find a teleporter script that can teleport someone to other sims ?

Zoha: We can't initiate "proper Teleports" from scripts yet - only the couple of ways of faking it for short-distance work. The closest you can get is to have the object give out a Landmark to the destination and prompt people to click the Teleport button when the Landmark's little window pops up.

and i think that is ok....becouse it will be so stupid if i put in my all object in club/shop teleport.... or something like that....

same thing like ...u buy something on touch P and i hate "sit teleport script" but who ask me ......

The LandMark thing is ok for me but is not working from within the same prim.

I have in one prim 3 lands: a shopping mall, and 2 places where you can rent appartments.

I want to make publicity in the mall for the appartments. But the landmarks are not working from within the same sim.

Do you have a solution for that ?

If you want to try it: Search for "ZoHa PlaZa". Do a TP and behind you are 2 billboards.
Click on them and in the notecard is a landmark. Click on it and it does not work.

Keep the landmark and click on it from another sim and it is working.

In my limited experience.. you can 9 times out of 10 contact the owner of the current sim you are in and there are settings that allow / disallow TP within the same sim. If it's turned off then whenever you try to TP short distances or to the other side of the sim it just sort of flakes out. If it's turned on it works like a champ. This happened to me just recently.

Once the feature was "turned on" so to speak... everything worked fine.

Just a thought.

This is the solution, I allready contacted the sim owner and he has changed it a couple of days ago.
