I've looked at the freebie water effects and found out they no-copy, no-modify so I can't change them to suit my needs -- I've decided to write my first script (and publish them)... I have the texture animations down and the collision/splash sound ... next is the ripple and splashing ... I figure that the splashing is a particle effect but what is the ripple? Is it a really flat prim that is rezzed at the collision point with a water texture radiating outward that slowly fades/alphas out and then dies?
Thanks ... Jason ... ![]() |

Jason ... ![]() basically yes, except I didn't make mine that complex...just a simple flat ring with animated texture radiating out from the splash point.
