llRequestAgentData( llDetectedKey(i), DATA_PAYINFO) return the value of DATA_PAYINFO which is 3. what's that mean? I know 0, 1 or 2 means no paymentinfo used, paymentinfo on file or paymentinfo used.

thank you very much.

No Payment Info on File: 0
Payment Info on File: 1
No Payment Info on File AND Payment Info Used: 2 (Only Beta/Lifetime users fall under this status)
Payment Info on File AND Payment Info Used: 3

it's a combination of 1 and 2 :)

People who participated in the very early beta of Second life, back in 2002/2003, were offered "Charter Membership" status. They get a 4096 m plot of land free for life, and probably other completely secret perks. *puts on tinfoil hat*

The lifetime membership option was offered periodically though SL history, most recently it ended with the release of 1.3 (in 2004). A lifetime account got your 4k of land and a stipend of 1000L$ a week. For the last 4 years I've been kicking my self for not getting one.

LL only offers them when they are hard up for cash.

Hmm, interesting. doesn't sound so special then :\ You mean you had to pay for it? I would think it should be given as some great reward.

I believe early beta testers might have gotten it for free, but I'm not sure. It sounds though like something you'd have to buy (pay for ONCE), which is certainly a very appealing option in our world of monthly service fees.

Especially when L$1000 is basically $16 a month for free for the duration of your account. Even if the account cost $200 or something, it'd pay for itself after about a year, and that's ignoring the value of 4,096 square metres compared to the current premium account's 512.
