Stand animation - legs hang down?

So I'm forcing an avatar sitting on a prim to be in the "stand" animation. Problem is, I'm then rotating the prim, so that sometimes the prim is no longer horizontal. The pelvis and torso of the avatar are fine (they rotate with the prim), but the legs just hang down limply... which looks bad. Is there any way to force the legs to stay in a straight line with the rest of the body?

Cheers,

Yep. Import an animation from Poser of the default figure standing for one frame (or have someone else do so, like me). Set it to Priority 4 while importing.

The default stand animation has a low priority, I believe - which is why it sometimes messes up. A custom animation, on the other hand, should have no problems since it'll override everything else at Priority 4 (sans other P4 animations).

It would be great if you would!

Setting the priority too high might not be what I want though - I want the
avatar to be able to run other animations - typing say, or whatever else,
whilst standing. I just want to kill the "legs hanging down under
gravity" bit, not everything.

I'll IM you in game.

Cheers,

Didn't you need 2 frames for this? I'm not sure because I 've not ever done this though.

On testing, 10 seemed to work. Tried it with two and it yelled at me for the animation being too small.

Not sure what the lower threshhold is, but it's above 2, and less than or equal to 10.

3 is the minimum frames for an anim.

1 for the default start and 2 for it to loop between if you want a static pose.

I've not played with the priorities properly, but I *think* a priority of 3 will let you keep the typing anims but forces the legs to stay down.

Jeffery, I seemed to misread you. I thought you said it was enough just 1 frame animation that you could accomplish what you said. If it is same as making a still pose, I suppose to be enough just 2 frames. But there is a technique to do "Joint Locking".
See Archanox Underthorn's comment.
