How to allow an avatar to walk through a prim?

I think this is a scripting question.

I've seen places that have very thin prims, glass prims, curtains that are transparent etc. where you can pass right through them. How is this done?

I don't know that I really need the complexity of group access etc. and don't want to have to touch it (like a door) to pass through.

Thx!

right click and EDIT the object. THen click the 'more' button (If there is a 'less' button instead, ignore this)

Go to the 'object' tab, and you should see a checkbox marked 'phantom'. Check this and you can walk through it. Uncheck and you can't.

You can also use llSetStatus(STATUS_PHANTOM, TRUE) or, similarly, FALSE, to set this in a script. It will persist even if you delete the script as it is a prim property.
