I know how to rez an object from a prim, but is there any method to take a no copy item back into the prims' inventory? If I understand lldie, it would delete it and the item would be lost for good. TIA

For any rezzed objects, the only way to take it/them back into inventory is to right click/take. There is no way to do it with LSL.
