I'm trying to make an object that will stay on the exact same elevation, always face the direction it is turning (randomly left or right), and turn in small increments. The object is not controllable, as I want to tweak its behavior through AI decisions.
Obviously, I have no reference scripts for this type of behavior. Would someone please point me in the direction to find something along these lines? The hover stuff I've seen has variation in elevation, which I do not want.
Thank you in advance!

Well, let's start by asking.. does it need to be physical? if yes.. try negating gravity.
if not, you don't need to worry about negating gravity. simply set up the rotation part.
(not much of a scripter, so I can't write you a script to do this.. but at least I know some of the right questions to ask)

Look at posts #1 & #24 in this thread: /54/80/148764/1.htmlThat will give you a base for the elevation part of the script
