Instead of eating up their time, I thought I would search the forums. But I find that to be somewhat inaccurate at best sometimes.
Anyway,
I need to know if anyone has already created this script concept below. And if there are open source versions to save time.
It is a pretty simple idea. The hud rotates in the opposite direction from your head as you look around in mouse view.
So basically it is inverting it's location on the screen according to where your "head" is pointing.
This should allow you to reach buttons because it will appear, for example, as if the hud's "dash" moves upward as you look downward.
Also I would like to eventually have a Hud that holds a small 3D world. So only you can see it, look around the "room", and move in it, interact with objects, etc.
Basically a 3D game in, uh, 3D world. Yeah.
Ok anyway I believe this is very possible and would be fairly easy for you script masters if your willing to try it.
(If it has not been done already.)I just need an idea of how it would work. Don't need an entire script with a world built into it or anything. Just an example of the inverted rotation and movments maybe.
It's just something I think would be cool and sure help a lot of people. Including myself.
I am guessing it's movment would be something like the non-physical scripts.
I have only recently tried to script huds, and to be honest, I don't like them too much yet. Other than giving an effect to something.
Unless this one works out then that might change my mind.

If anyone has any links or any objects that I could study, I'd much appreciate it.
Thank you much.
