Hello everyone,
i need some help as some one attacked me via script that uses "llDialog". He sent much Dialogs and huge llDialogs to me, so my Viewer was near to crash. If i hadnt hinder him, he would have success. I muted him and went in Buisy-Mode, but nothing helped. And additional his Dialog-attack wasnt loged in chat.
My question; is there a way to block a "llDialog" attack? Get out of the attackers range wont help when i m on a camp-chair, because i lose the chair.
Pls, i need any help.

you've already found the way to block the attack.
"mute"

Send in a Abuse Report explaining clearly what happens, but only when it does happen.

A quick note: muting the avatar will only stop any *additional* dialogs from appearing. If lots of them had already been sent, then you'd have to click ignore or whatever on each one to get rid of them. (Or just re-log).

Pls are there any other suggestions. Abuse report, there has to be an internal track of the number of dialogs sent as this is a server function.

You'd have to mute the object the attacker is using the script in. If you move to another sim that would stop them so you can click through them to get rid of them. Unless the attacker follows you or has the attacking object designed to follow you. In which you could teleport somewhere and it wouldn't be able to track you. There used to be a way to track someone when they teleport, but I think they stopped that.
