HELP FOR THE SCRIPTALLY CHALLENGED..is scriptally a word?

Hey smart people ! Okay mono is out - I have to recompile stuff. I've recompiled before but not on this scale (I have three sims full of things) - is there a "blanket" way to do this? or do I actually have to recompile script by script....AND when I recompile, is it instant? Or am I waiting for some verification that it has recompiled?

To the best of my knowledge you don't have to recompile. You can leave things to run as they are.

Mono is optional when compiling new scripts, so it's reasonable to assume LL won't automatically recompile all existing scripts... so you'll need to do it manually, I'm afraid!

However, you don't necessarily *need* to recompile them all... only ones which you think will benefit from the added memory capacity and speed.

To convert a number of scripted objects all to Mono at once

* Rez all the scripted objects
* Use the select tool to select them all.
* From the Tools menu select Recompile Selection / Mono
