Hi. I thought I saw a website where you could put in an avatars personal key and you could find out where they are in SL. Can't seem to find that thread. Any clue?
OR,
Does anyone have a simple script that does this without having the person being tracked where an object?

If you can't just IM them and ask them where they are and they are not on your friends list giving you permission to map them then maybe they don't want you to know where they are in the first place...
There is a reason LL took out the feature where one could map anyone on their fiends list.

your point is well taken...and well documented in many posts here. However, this would be for group members only and for a metaverse hunt game. I have no interest in spying...way to busy for that....thanks for the morale high ground comment...or low hanging fruit?

Objects can only find ppl in a 96m radius from themselves. You might be able to find them in a region of you have an array of such objects. If a website offers it, I think they "hacked" the system - possibly using the Open Source.
