Dood! Having the delay, energy, etc., for a given function on the same page clearly called out and seperate from the desciption rocks! So much better than attempting to find the ScriptDelay page, whose link is broken on several of the wiki mirrors.
Oh, and the layout is pretty decent too. |

Heh, thank Strife for that, he made those templates. Thank you Strife, I think I am a convert now  I am happy enough (or was) with the one I have been using thus far, but I do think this is going to be my new fave.Especially if all of the category links are not dead like most of the wiki mirrors  |

Oh, and the layout is pretty decent too. script delay is a perfect example of why media wiki usues the uppercase first letter thing, on all my mirrors past and present that page is infact there cheesefactory.us/lslwm/ScriptDelay.htm but becuase of users not knowing or not paying attention the links are scriptdelay ... which on a *nix server is not the same as ScriptDelay so 404 that is the main reason discussions like this are important, LL has been known to be wishywashy about hosting a wiki (or providing any usefull documentation at all) so if 6 months after this thing is started they boot the wiki off, whomever chooses to pick it back up isnt faced with reinventing the wheel, and doing alot of BS busywork to get back to point A back on topic, im a weirdo i propose $ for functions * for constants and ! for events (evil laugh) |

I've not had problems with searching in the LSL_ prefix, could you explain how it breaks searching?

I've not had problems with searching in the LSL_ prefix, could you explain how it breaks searching? Type llInstantMessage in the search box on the left sidebar and press enter. It doesn't take you to the page, it just lists all the pages that contain that term. When pages are named properly, it takes you straight to that page, you don't have to wade through every page that happens to mention the function. Also it looks like it makes us have to manually maintain the category pages rather than just letting it automatically update. _____________________

Yeah, that seems a likely reason for that page to be broken in so many places, but whether it is broken or working perfectly you have to admit that having that info on the function's page and visually easy to find rather than embedded in the description is pretty handy |
