Propagating scripts across link-sets

I'm having one of my braindead moments. Is there a way to copy a script across all the prims in a link-set? llGiveInventory and llRemoteLoadScriptPin seem to be intended for transfer between objects, but what about within multi-prim objects?

As far as scripts are concerned, linked prims are just a (not so) special case of seperate prims. llGiveInventory and llRemoteLoadScriptPin should work fine. At least, they worked fine when I tried them.

So... an object's key is the key of its root prim, but each child prim maintains its own key? How peculiar. :D

If it didn't maintain it's own key how could you send a child prim email? Or know which prim spoke as (as the listen key and name would be borked).

Apparrently the whole point of transfering scripts to linked prims is stupidly useless thanks to the fact that you can't set a remote access pin for the WHOLE object just the root.
