I realize this is not exactly a scripting question but:
I would like to create a quicktime (or other stream type) stream from a java or some other type of program. For example: I would like to write a java program that draws to the screen of my system and also streams the output in a quicktime stream. I have Quicktime Broadcaster and Darwin Streaming Server set up and working, I just need to figure out how to do the last piece, ie, create a stream from the screen image.
Thanks in advace.

Use some application that catches the screen from ur PC then converts it in a video stream Quick time compliant (such as mp4)... i think vlc is good for this job.
But as i never tried it before you have to do your tests.
I could try this evening and let you know.. if you test it before me post a message here with the result response.
Bye bye
