Ok,

I am working on a system that would require a target,

now both avies are using this system. But is there a simple way w/o pinging a sensor and giving a meno of closest targets to set this target?

Like is there a function to pull the avie under your target ret?

or am i gonna have to fire off a sensor and ping back the first person..

Yeah, aside from maybe getting fancy with rezzing a prim and going by collision detection, which would prolly be hard to get working right, sensor is your only other choice.

The only present way to 'target' something you're looking at, in this case under the mouselook reticle is to use a sensor. A really narrow one. And filter for AGENT.
I have some code that'll do the job, I can pass it ti you this evening when I get in.
