Need Listen Script to Change color of Prim and Texture

I need a script that can be set to listen to a chanel and change the color and texture of a prim.

ie /1 object color,texture

I have found various scripts that do things similar, but nothing quite right.

Ie a script which will change all prims in a linked object, or rotate a texture.
