Ok, one, does anyone have a script for attaching an item? I want to type /1 sword, and it attaches a sword, or /1 empty and it attaches my prime built empty hand. and the second is part of a long prodget to make a good quality gun. I need help be it someone pointing to an e-book of the programing language or scripting software or someone working with me to create it and give the script to me. It's a big progect but it's about time someone made one with some class to it.

Are you talking about attaching it from your inventory? If so, there is no way within LSL to do this. LSL does not interact with your avi's inventory.

One solution is like the torch I sell. You wear the torch and it appears in your hand. When you turn it off, the torch becomes completely transparent. It looks like you detached it. When you turn it on, it becomes visible again. But it's always attached.

No, to explain it I'll discribe a sword I have that does it. ok, I equip the shealth sword, I type /1 d, the sheath has in it's contects the unsheathed sword that is placed on the ground when i do this, then the sword asked to attach to my avitar, I click ok then the sword is in my hand when before it was not and if I type /1 s the sword is detatched from my hand.

That's a pretty ugly way around if you have to equip from the ground each time, but what it's doing is...

it rezzes the sword from the sheath. The hilt in the sheath gets alphad out. If they were nice they'd ask you to attach directly in the script for the sword. When you unequip if it actually detaches there's a "llDetach" call that they're using - it will stay in your inventory. Otherwise they'll release the anims (if any) and just alpha the sword in your hand out.

Yes, but I need it to work with attaches and detaches since I want to have a veriety of different hands, one open, one closed in a fist for martial arts, one holding a gun, one holding a sword.
