I have some nice little wild slime drones, that don't have a script in them at all - but they run a script, following things around like they would if they did have a script in them.
Anybody else have scriptless object engaging in scripted behavior?

I think you might be confused...
There IS a script in them, but it's not in the root prim.

No hidden child prim containing a script ? It could run around using impulses, for example.

I had this happen. I made a button and a panel that had a teleport script in it. I wanted to use the same switch for tinting windows cause it looked cool.
I removed the TP script and placed the tint script in it, but when I right clicked the switch it still had the teleport option in the wheel menu.
I clicked on it for the hell of it and was transported. I checked the switch in both prims and the teleport script wasn't in either.
I tried taking it in and out of inventory to reset the prims, but it still had that option in the menu wheel and I could still tp. The switch i made is only 2 prims so there was nowhere it could hide on me.
Strange.

Strange. That's not strange. Sit targets and sit text options are like particle systems--they aren't deleted with the script.

I feel like a dummy , it could be cause I'm stoooopid, I didn't even look; the silly things are so simple....
I'll go check.
......
Yup Yup Yup I'm stoooopid.
The script is in the right eye, the white part.
Fooey! I though I had a nice mystery going on, and all I have is some wild slime drones.
Thanks for your answers, there are many scripted objects I might want to take the scripts out of, and I don't pull the fellow or the flying fish out very often.
