My main objective is trying to give an object a Glow look to it, I have set it with Light, But I set the density to low, due to its suppose to glow very softly. Now... I'm trying to set a particle script so it would have a very low glow.
The object I am trying to make glow is 0.020X, 0.020Y, and, 0.050Z In a cone shape.
I want to get it so the particle glows alittle bigger than that size, and in a specific orangeish color.
Is this possible? If so... please help! Oh! I would want the particle always on... not pulsating.
Please let me know if it can be done or not! Thank you!

Don't use particles for that.
I would recommend making another copy of the object, scaling it up a slight amount, and making them transparent. Also play around with the light settings, and a glowing outline shouldn't be too hard to manage.

Debug FTW

Theres also a debug menu option that puts a glowing halo around lightsources. It will automatically make your light source have a glow to it without using anymore sim resources or prims, but only people with the option enabled can see it. They are a minority, but most people have lighting turned off anyway.

Kokiri, that used to be the case, but with the newer lighting system, I believe many people have enabled it again. It doesn't cause as big a performance hit as it used to.

Im not sure, I tend to leave it off because its not worth the extra rez times to me, and I know a lot of people with lower connection speeds leave it off as well. Also considering that it is off by default, Im sure the majority of new people have it disabled. All together, it adds up to quite a lot.
In anycase, I know a lot of people who have the lighting halo enabled, so its not a mute thing to consider.
