can you make a teleport play an animation b4 it sends you

Was playing around with an animation I made that makes me look like Im gong down in a bugs bunny style elevator rabbit hole. Was trying to mix it with a teleport so that it would put me in my under ground home. Half a sim away, but I couldnt get the tp to auto fire after the animation played. Probably not possible or would have seen it before. I ended up with me under ground and I made the edge of the hole the teleporter so it looks ok but just would be cool to click on the black circle on the ground and then disapear into it and find yourself in my rabbit hole.

1) On touch (right cilck) - start anim 2) llSleep(3.0) 3) Start sit target script to put you in your hole?
Have you tried this?

Correct me if I'm wrong but everyone who teleports will need to be ask permission to animate their character, just keep that in mind.

I think by sitting (teleporting), the avatar is giving inherent permission to animate.
If it were a on_touch, then permissions would need to be given...

Have you tried this? I dont think you can start sit target after anything. Its a property of the prim after the script is loaded. Sitting automatically grants permissions to animate. Perhaps making an elevator that uses setpos or movetotarget once u sit on it? You could use a sleep or timer to end the animation and start the movement after the animation is done.

Hmmm that might work the animation actually puts you below the ground level. Your still attached to the prim, so then if the prim went clear and started moving to my place.Hope you move with it. I suppose I'd be traveling underground. but my real position on the prim would be above it, Just the animation holding me underground, So invisible. Will have to give that a try when the update gets done. Really didn't expect to see a reply on this, that would be helpful, Thanks Cid and you other guys if you want to see the results go to Montmartre it'll be between the barn and the stage and the lighthouse near a LoonyToon thing i made of Buster and Babs Bunny and there in front of them is a rabbit hole should be attached to the black hole part in the middle. Not to be confused with some Else's hole with an arrow pointing into it, next to it. Started out I was trying to one up them with the hole from my place but then right clicked it and teleported to inside my place. the hole gets bigger if you click on the berm around the hole.

Can a SitTarget be updated dynamically? Suppose the teleport target was 100m away toward X: SitTarget(<0,0,0.1>  ; TriggerAnimation llSleep(3); StopAnimation SitTarget(<100,0,0>  ; Unsit With the proper syntax, of course.
