I am ok at scripting but I am a math dummy. I have a rather large build. It consists of four parts. I can't make it just one linked item because it is too big. It is basically a flat object where I want to put together the four corners. I want to put out a bunch of these and I would like to put out one of the four parts and have it rez and position the other three parts. The z rotation of the first part will vary. How do I figure out the coordinates to place the other three objects? If there were no rotation it would be simple I think, but with rotation I don't know how to figure out the values.

Before we get into the technical side of this, have you tried selecting the entire build and taking it into inventory? A well-kept secret in Second Life is the fact that, regardless of linking, you can still take very large, complex objects as a single item in inventory by selecting the entire thing and choosing "Take." Otherwise - it can also be scripted. It's just a little harder.

Jeffrey,
That worked! Well mostly. I can't change the rotation on the whole object after I rez another copy. But I just need around five rotations so I'll just line them up by hand five times and rez away. Thanks so much for the tip!
