As far as I can tell on any script recompiled since about 1.11, this function does NOTHING at all on an attachement... can someone PLEASE prove me wrong?

I think you might be experiencing a common SL bug thats been around for a while. If you save a script on an object that is attached, that script then loses the ability the alter your av physics (movetotarget, push, force, etc) until you remove the attachment and put it back on. I have no idea why this happens, but it drove me nuts until I figured out what was going on.

Just gave it a quick try, made new item and new very basic script copy&pasted from another thread (/54/7f/122092/1.html#post1155958) ... and it seems to work fine. The re-attach thing mentioned above sounds plausible, definitely got to experience it while playing with physics stuff x'x;

I don't know how I went this long with out running into that before. You'd think when I originally developed the leash script I use I'd have found it....
