Has anyone ever seen, written, or even considered writing a program to parse a BVH file (normally used only for avatar animation) for use on a linked set of primitives? It seems there are a couple of possible ways to make this work.
The first way is to emit a notecard of positions and rotations for each limb. One LSL script could read that notecard, memorize it into a list, then call out the positions and rotations in the animation to per-limb LSL scripts.
The second way is to emit one LSL script per limb, and have a controller call out the "frames" in the animation.
So, has anyone seen such a thing? Is Linden Labs coming out with some new feature soon that would make this a waste of time? Would anyone want to buy one if I wrote it? How much is it worth?

... though ever since the script scheduler, timing may be erratic. As such, milage may vary.

Excellent news! The only problem is that the link to the mirror within that thread is dead. Where else can I get this?

BTW, does it use one of the two methods I wrote about, or something else?

Okay, I've gotten no responses. Are you pulling my leg, or does this thing really exist?

You're right, there are discussions about this. The problem is finding a working link to the ZIP file containing the code. Does anyone have a copy they can give me in-world? Pretty please?
