I'm using a "offline" build script for 3ds max,
PRIM COMPOSER 1.3 http://liferain.com/downloads/primcomposer
the problem happens with the "--lsl" option. (export and pack)
with this you can build within 3d max and export to SL or opensim. but there's a strange problem. when i rezz in to Opensim or SL the prims come out incorrect ("Tapper Y" prim option) . my question is if you are willing to help to fix this problem...
I am already communicating with the creator of this script to take out the bugs here: http://liferain.com/downloads/forums/primcomposer-for-3ds-max/with-lsl-option-prims-not-rezzed-corectly/
this is the ticket by the creater of script. https://liferain.com/projects/primcomposer/ticket/141 or here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-2919
please put your comments here or i above forum or ticket link.
if you are willing to help, thank you...

Sorry you are having problems Melnik but there really isn't anything anyone here could do and the best place is where you have already started a dialog with Shack over in his forum. Really only 3 places that it can go wrong and we do not have access to any of them:
1) User error in 3ds Max
2) Bug in SL server code
3) Bug in Prim Composer
Now since no one else is reporting the same problem I would suggest trying a different experiment, maybe without taper, or reverse taper and try to see if you can narrow down the problem?
Good Luck!

my guess would be that opensim doesn't use the same weird taper format that SL does, either using the old behavior, or a separated behavior that LL chose not to go with for some reason of compatibility. further I imagine the lsl code is just duplicated across from the opensim environment.
but really like Jesse says... it's a bit much to parse an error with so little info (although I imagine that if the lsl build script is open, you could tweak the taper parsing to get it working right.)

Shack Dougall is saying: The login failure is happening inside of libopenmv (formerly called libsecondlife). I can't reproduce the problem, but I'm taking two actions in 1.3.1 (releasing later this week, but no later than Friday) to try to solve the problem. 1) I will upgrade libopenmv. A similar, but not identical error was fixed last Friday in libopenmv ( http://jira.openmetaverse.org/browse/LIBOMV-562). It is possible that this will also fix your problem. After I upgrade, I will take a closer look at the libopenmv source code..) but this is an other problem on its own..pffff But about exporting to opensim or SL, its possible to export a link set. When i export, with all child prims the Tapper Y becomes "1.0" but the root prim stays "0.0" (witch is good) so that the bug we have to take out. all dat is being read from a .xml file and converterd back to lsl algorithm. thank you....
