OK, so I saw this harassment device today and I'm trying to understand how it was scripted.. The object chatted rude things, eg:

[16:20] Brandi Lane: I want to fuck hard...Sooooo hard...!

Does anyone know how such a script is written or how one might go about locating the offender?

Thanks in advance

Sensor gets your name.
llSetObjectName(name);
chat on channel zero.

the mysti tool has a chat identifier as well. it basically listens on channel 0(and other channels, default 0-10) and it tells you what channel, who said it, and if it's an object it tells you the owner's name as well. doesn't work for objects sending an instant message though

A way to avoid confusion is to set object talk, and avatar talk to different colors under your preferences.
