Could someone script my plane for me?

I don't even want to start trying to script. I took a look at the "easy" tutorial on one website and ran screaming from the room.
So would someone be so kind as to script my plane so it actually flies (whenever I add a flying script to it, it hangs by its nose or tail).
I'd like it to be graceful instead of fast. And easy to control.
Hopefully not too expensive, been playing for 2 whole weeks so funds are not in the "diamond Jim" region...
Thanks.

Cubey Terra has a basic plane script kit at the Abbotts Aerodrome. I'll send you a copy in game.

Thanks for the offer but I've already tried it and it doesn't work.
The plane seems to hang from it's nose for a while and bumps around. Not much fun at all...

The root prim should be "facing forward" on your plane. Easiest way to do this is to make a new prim and zero all the angles of rotaion. Arrange your craft around it, making this individual prim the seat of the craft, then link them, selecting the new individual prim last.

Cubey's plane script should then work as you'd expect.

I know the words you used in that post were english, but I did'nt understand a SINGLE thing!
You have to remember that the last time I wrote a program for a computer, it was a TRS-80 and it had a whopping 16k of memory!
That was about 24 years ago...
Hence the request for someone to do it for me...

(and no, you can't teach an old dog new tricks...)

Catch me in-world this evening before 8:00 PST, and I'll be happy to put Cubey's script in your plane for you. :)

You will feel right at home then...

LSL scripts are limited to that amount of memory as well, something that has been somewhat annoying a large number of developers recently.
