analog: need to get notify or bid when a parcel goes for auction

i have a need analogous to NotifyMeWhenMyParcelSells.

there is a particular parcel i wish to buy. it was abandoned and went to gov linden. when it comes up for auction, i want to bid asap. so i need a notify, or better yet, to automatically bid.

Hmm. There is no way you can query whether a piece of land is for sale/auction. You can tell whehn a piece of land changes owners by querying the owner every so often during a timer event, but there is no (at least no DOCUMENTED) way to get back what you want.

The best you could do is ask the Lindens to give you some advance notice or alert you as soon as it happens (I don't know if they do this while physically present or not; if so you could slap down a prim with the text, "Please touch me when land is auctioned!" or something). For that...err...good luck.
