Hi,

Firstly, I apologize is this question has already been answered. I'm pretty new and clueless as scripting, just started a few days ago but am excited to create new things in SL :)

I was wondering if anyone would help me with the scripts for creating a hovering and rideable object. I was thinking of creating a broomstick which one could ride on. Like a witch :)

I think I can make the object, just the scripting will be a problem. (I have zero knowledge of scripting)

Help anyone? Thanks in advance :)

Basically there are three things you need..

1. The broom, this is where the script will be placed. Take a look in the vehicle scripting area for more details on this, and you probably can already do this (you said).

2. You will need a script. You can get a hoverboard script and modiify this a little and learn some about scripting at the same time. Look near some of the hubs for Newbie Freebies for a hoverboard. The script should be inside. (do edit, press "more", look under the third tab called "Contents";)

3. You will also need an animation for sitting on the broom. This is the part where I have no clue, I just know you need one.

I hope that helps some.
