Is it possible to create a radar or scanner that only detects certain people, say people you want to avoid?

If you give it a list of names ahead of time, then just have it cycle through that list each sensor call to see if they are detected. If they are detected, then have it display. Contact me in SL if like. I just threw together a radar the other day that would easily be adapted to this.

The problem with that solution is that it will mean an awful lot of scanners if you have more than one or two names.
If you have more than 2 or 3 people. you'd be better off wilth a straight scan for agents, then do the comparions for each agent it detects to see if they are listed.

I must not have stated it clearly. What i mean is this.
Within each agent sensor event, the detected agents are cycled through and compared to a list of people to avoid. Any names that appear in both places are displayed.
Got it now?

Oh well, I dont think it is anything to blush over. =) After all, it was I who worded it badly.
Anyways, Kimmer, I am not sure what your level of scripting ability is, but if you want to get ahold of me in SL I can give you a hand. That radar I created should adapt easily.
